Pacific Nations

Solomon Islands

  • Developed the framework for the Solomon Islands National Strategic Plan (NSP) and participated in its drafting. The NSP is currently in place

  • Developed the Solomon Islands Medium Term Development Plan (MTDP). The MTDP extracts the priorities of the NSP and links them to programs and activities with the associated log frames

  • Integrated the MTDP into the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) in the Solomon Islands

  • Set up budget committees in the Solomon Islands to integrate the development (capital) budget and the operational budget

  • Prepared the PFM roadmap, reviewed treasury management and developed a treasury information system

  • Restructure the Ministry of Planning
